Election of Lt Governor-Elect: At the May Council Meeting, Omaha-Loveland Golden K Presdient Kim Pacaj, was nominated for the position of Lt Governor-Elect for Kiwanis Year 2012-2013. However without a quorum of Clubs represented by either President of Past President we were unable to proceed with the election. We will elect Kim as incoming Lt Governor-Elect at the June Council Meeting.

Club Elections: are to be conducted in May and the results reported to Kiwanis International by June 1. This allows ample time for KI to get the new officers into the system to start receiving communications from KI and to be identified for Club Leadership Education. This is an electronic process through Kiwanis One and there is still plenty of time to make the deadline.

Club Leadership Education: is this Saturday, June 2, at 8 am at the Goodwill Offices at 4805 N 72nd St. This training is targeted at the incoming President and Secretary, but all Officers and committee chairs can benefit and all are welcome to attend. The cost for the training is a flat $30 per Club regardless of number attending. Pre-registration is not required, attendance will be taken at the training and the District Secretary will assess the Clubs that attend the fee. The CLE Training should be completed by noon.

The June Meeting will be presided over by Southwest Omaha, our speaker will be Patty Scarpello, from Youth for Understanding, USA. See you there.
